Outside-In

My 4 year-old son brought these flowers to me after a walk with his dad outside. I LOVED them and they were so fragrant!

I was at the end of a long day of multiple online meetings back-to-back and I was brain dead. Tired of thinking. Tired of COVID-19 "disrupting" our lives.

I took a picture and I'm glad I did. (SIDE NOTE: I took a picture because my son is a tsunami and yes, he disrupted this - took the flowers out and threw them on the floor, poured the water out and played with the vase doing something or other. LOL)

I'm sharing because I was happy that he brought the outside in to me and my stress was relieved. And then it made me think about how when we are on the outside of a situation, we are able to see the situation from a different perspective, maybe even more clearly (we do this with family and friends all the time, right?)

This is also a business principle...An Outside-In Approach is where we, as business owners, take time to look at our business, our messaging, and our client needs from the OUTSIDE so we can more clearly see how we can bring value to them.

So, get outside this weekend! Bring the outside in and also spend some time reflecting on what your clients need and what's going on in their lives. Whatever you find out may mean revamping a bit because of the times we are in.

I'll be doing the same! Happy Easter. Happy Resurrection!

Do you need an "outisde-in" perspective? I'm here for you. Let's talk about how I can help you get a clear strategy to move forward in your business and your life!
